The Investing for Health Strategy has as one of its key objectives "to promote mental health and emotional wellbeing at individual and community level". The actions associated with this objective cover such areas as suicides, the working environment, the troubles, education, domestic violence and implementation of the Mental Health Promotion Strategy above.
There are three levels of mental health promotion:
